Terms of use

Destination Preflight (“the Service”), presented publicly as Preflight. Legal rights in the Service are held by Shawn Rackley (“Operator”) for registration and enforcement purposes.

Last updated: 2026-09-02.

1. What this is

The Service is a paid HTTP API that returns destination-readiness information (ready / blockers) for classic XRPL addresses before an agent sends XRP or RLUSD. It is a payment-hygiene / destination preflight tool.

2. What this is not

3. Acceptable use

You may call the Service for lawful agent or developer use. You may not: reverse-engineer to operate a competing clone marketed as this Service’s official endpoint; abuse, overload, or attack the infrastructure; use the Service to facilitate fraud or illegal activity; or submit seeds, private keys, or passwords to the Service (the merchant is receive-only and will never ask for them).

4. Payments

Paid routes use x402 on XRPL mainnet. Price, asset, and payTo are advertised in HTTP 402 / /.well-known/x402. Blockchain payments are generally irreversible. Network fees and facilitator behavior are outside Operator control.

5. No warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Ledger data can be stale, incomplete, or wrong; always re-check critical sends.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-funds damages arising from use of the Service. Total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amounts you paid to the Service for the specific calls giving rise to the claim in the prior 30 days.

7. Intellectual property

Copyright © 2026 Preflight. All rights reserved. The Service name, logo, docs, and software are owned by Shawn Rackley (publicly credited as Preflight). These terms do not grant you rights to rebrand or resell the Service as your own product.

8. Privacy

Request logs may include IP addresses, URLs, and payment-related headers/hashes needed to operate the Service. Do not send personal data or secrets in API fields.

9. Changes / contact

Terms may change by updating this page. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. Contact: use the merchant Hub listing contact paths or GitHub account xrpl-receive-check for Service issues.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer law says otherwise.
